The Artist...
Bonnie
Saunders is a self-taught artist whose desire to
draw began at a very young age. She was born and
raised in Saskatchewan, Canada where she gets most
of her inspiration from nature and subjects that are
"Canadian". Bonnie uses
coloured pencil as a medium to create true to life images which portray
beauty and nature. She
enjoys the creative process and tries not to be influenced by others.
The
Gallery...
is
located in a century old church building which overlooks a breathtaking
view of the North Saskatchewan River in the beautiful hamlet of
Frenchman Butte, Saskatchewan. It is this location that
inspires
Bonnie each and every day to make others' surroundings more beautiful.
Recipients of Bonnie Saunders’
work include the Earl of Wessex- Prince
Edward, the
Premiers of Western Canada, as well as Canadian hockey great - Paul
Coffey. Her work has made its way to many parts of the world.
"Presenting one of my pieces to
Prince Edward was one of the most memorable moments of my life."
